We have a diversity of experience from around the world contributing to the impact that each trip delivers, helping you discover new species, new places, new friends, and unforgettable stories that every adventurer on our trip is ready to help you find.

We offer locally curated tours suited to your interests for birding, wildlife viewing, and beyond. We do our absolute best to make your journey as comfortable and exciting as possible, without compromising safety, effective communication, connection, respect, or sustainability in the path to excellence.

As excited travelers, we are keen on discovering more of our world, learning with new perspectives, and connecting with the lands, people, and world we adventure within. We are excited to remain adventurous throughout our daily adventures from preparation through to home and beyond. It is our responsibility to remain ethical travelers throughout this time, refraining from exploitative media and remaining leaders in ethical and eco-conscious adventure tourism by staying up to date on environmental issues and staying true to our values of respect and sustainability.
Caretakers.
Our work as caretakers extends into our responsibilities as stewards for the environments we work within, and the people we entrust to learn with. Remaining accountable in the face of misrepresentations, mistakes, or inconsistencies is essential to accurate representations of our land and long-term conservation and community success. We strive to adventure with integrity to our values while never compromising accuracy or community, or impact misrepresentation.
Nature.
Birding and wildlife are two pillars of Running Wild Tours that are key focuses of ours. In reality, these are encompassed by an overarching respect for nature and all its beauty, from mushrooms to geology, water, flora, and beyond. When we interact in nature, be it birding or wildlife viewing, we focus on connecting guests sustainably to the exciting hobby of birdwatching and sustainable safaris, whilst endeavoring to inspire passion and excitement for endemic species for guests beyond sightseeing, to opportunities to connect and learn about behaviors through a lens of safety.
Community.
Community encompasses our direct responsibilities to strive to learn from and with people from around the world to remain interconnected and culturally aware. We always focus on stewarding sustainability and representation with the goal of leading measurable impacts in the various communities we work within. This goes beyond our own conservation and education goals to our commitment to drive community upliftment by working with locally-led safari lodges and people from disadvantaged and historically under-represented backgrounds in their conservation and education careers.
