Fly from Johannesburg Airport to Durban’s King Shaka International. As a crew we will then transfer to Tembe Elephant Park, arriving by 5 PM for a relaxing late evening safari drive under the African sunset before connecting over our fully catered dinner.

Wake up early with the Dawn Chorus for a sunrise safari searching for birds and incredible wildlife with a chance to see some of the largest elephants in Africa. With a morning breakfast, and fully catered restful afternoon lunch alongside our delightful dinner at Tembe Elephant Lodge, you are sure to feel comfortable and enjoy another afternoon Safari in search of some of your favorite African animals.

On our third day we will be waking up with the birds to explore a birding sunrise safari at incredible birding hotspots near Tembe Elephant Park. This will follow a later afternoon Safari focussing on game viewing alongside our fully catered meals, where together we will bond together under the African sky.

Before our Departure from Tembe Elephant Park, we will take our last opportunity to explore its beautiful park on a morning game drive, before departing for Manyoni Private Game Reserve after a filling breakfast. Here we will enjoy the full offerings that the South African bush has to offer from guided Safari’s surrounded by the Big 5, to opportunities to wade in crystal blue pools overlooking the expansive African savannah under the Southern Cross stars. Your fully-catered stay here is sure to help you fall in love with everything South Africa has to offer.

On Day 5 we explore the expansive 56,000 acre Manyoni Private Game Reserve with a morning game drive searching for birds and game, followed by another safari later in the cooling day. At this fully catered lodge, we will have the day to relax and enjoy the South African bush together, and learn about their impressive conservation initiatives and community development programs in place.

On our final day at Luleka Lodge, we will have the chance to relax, chat with expert guides, connect with others, and once again go on game drives to find more wildlife and birds. We will enjoy our fully catered day, featuring snacks, including traditional biltong and local braai meats.

Before our departure to the exciting St Lucia BnB located on the borders of a UNESCO World Heritage site, we will have the chance for a final morning game drive as a group.
We will then make way for an afternoon visit to the largest estuary ecosystem in Africa, part of the world-famous iSimangaliso Wetland Park. Expect to see a variety of bird species that call this ecosystem home, alongside a diversity of hippos and crocodiles that hunt these waters.
During the day and for our dinner, expect to hunt the town for pleasant meals at local restaurants and storefronts, seeing the sides of South African town life often neglected. From diverse fresh local seafood to incredible fine-dining options, today will be an exciting day to explore beyond park boundaries — although don’t expect no wildlife sightings here, hippos are known to roam St. Lucia’s streets!

After a delightful breakfast at our stay, we will head into the iSimangaliso Wetland Park ecosystem to be taken on a private guiding tour hosted by an expert guide with over 13 years of experience exploring the iSimangaliso Wetland Park as a professional, and who has a lifetime of exploring its forests, coastline dunes, and waters.
We will have the chance to explore the incredible diversity of flora and fauna, and importantly, birdlife that call this wetland home, learning skills for tracking and identifying these incredible animals by sight, sound, and in the subtle changes in the environment. Expect engaging stories and a lifetime of birdwatching passions that will stick with you beyond your trip.
Whichever restaurants you were unable to explore before, you will have the chance to explore today, alongside opportunities to do some souvenir shopping.

Our final full day together ends with us meeting up again with our private guide, together we will chart out a private boat along the iSimangaliso rivers, birding along its banks and tree tops, a wetland adventure like no other. With the park's incredible shorebird species list, not to mention its larger wildlife along its banks like Nile crocodiles, hippo, and elephants, this tour will definitely be a trip highlight. Expect colors like no other, and sounds that will keep you dreaming of your next visit. Together, we will explore the St. Lucia town once more for a group lunch and farewell dinner.

After a relaxing morning and final chats over a filling breakfast at our tropical paradise BnB in St Lucia, we will make our way south to King Shaka International Airport. Here global return flights, and an abundance of domestic flights can take you on your next adventure. We will have the chance to take some final group photos, learn about other exciting places to visit, and get recommendations for the next leg of your journey if you wish to continue in South Africa.
