  • Deliver safe and engaging educational experiences that inspire a connection to the land, its cultures, environment, and its people; ensuring local wildlife and local knowledge remain integrated, respected, and protected in our experiences.

  • We endeavor to encourage connection amongst people and the environment through presence and shared understanding. At Running Wild Tours we realize that by working with local guides we can encourage mutual respect for the local cultures, ways of knowing, and environments we learn within and recognize that through this approach we can deliver sustainable tours that give back and build up the local communities we work with, ensuring a future for eco-tours that is sustainable into the future, and encourages connection, and respect.

  • Recognizing the immense passions that Natural History documentaries inspired in people around the world, including himself, Ryan (RWT founder) sought an opportunity to connect other passionate people with wild behaviors and interactions that nature documentaries take months to find, and that typical safaris rarely encounter on their sightseeing safaris.

Growing up in South Africa, along with Rob (co-founder), we realized that to truly ‘run wild with nature’, and inspire connection and respect for wildlife, just as in documentaries, we needed to work with the local experts and their passed-down knowledge to confidently find these unique experiences. This is where Running Wild Tours began. To work with local guides, on specially chosen routes to find experiences that connect you to the land, its animals, and its people beyond sights.

Together, at Running Wild Tours we have done the months of planning for you and connected with guides focused on sustaiability and impact-driven community results, and aligned our trip itineraries to connect you with the incredible natural behaviors you grew up watching.
